Happy Summer everyone! I hope you all aren't going too crazy with so much to do this summer. I have friends that are running them selves and their kids ragged....luckily, we kept it pretty tame this year. If you have not been to the Rice County Fair yet, go check out the Open class exhibit building!! Look for the photo below...it won THIRD place in it's division! Yippee!! This is my first time entering anything into the fair, and of the 5 I entered, only this one won. But hey, I'm not going to complain much!! I'm just happy one of my photos placed. Each of my kids entered something they made with Perler Beads (fusion beads) and they each got a participation ribbon...a win in their books! lol Tori entered a horse and Joe entered a car. They just thought it was cool to see something THEY made, in the fair. We're going back tomorrow (Friday) for Kids Day...maybe we'll see one of you there! Keep your eyes out for a new and improved Carlsten Creations website too! I'm working on re-vamping the site! It's about time...I really needed to update the galleries and things, so hopefully I can get it done soon! If you have any comments or suggestions on something you would like to see, just let me know! And a quick reminder. As stated in the last update, we will be on vacation October 1-7. :) My September will be a bit crazy too with my friends wedding (I'm photographer...yipee!) and Tori's Birthday, etc. It's that time of year for senior portraits, fall family portraits (great for the Holiday cards!) So if you had any shoots you wanted to do in that time frame...we should try and get them scheduled asap. Well all, thank you so much for your continued support! I couldn't do this with out you. :) As always, if you would prefer not to get my updates, just let me know and I'll take you off the list. Oh, and here is that photo I mentioned! :)
